About
Twenty years in digital. Now leading the programmes, not just building them.
I started as a designer, became a developer, specialised in Shopify, and today lead technical delivery on enterprise Shopify Plus programmes at fusefabric, a Shopify Platinum Partner.
Background
From design to delivery leadership
My career began in design: a degree in Design and Visual Communications, then agency work shaping brands and campaigns. That grew into thirteen years at Blue Horizons designing and building websites and e-commerce stores, and from there into specialist Shopify work with agencies including Velstar and fusefabric.
At fusefabric I moved from senior developer to Tech Lead during the Boden programme, one of the largest online migrations to Shopify Plus in Europe. Leading that team changed my focus. The work that matters most now is architecture, delivery and people: getting stakeholders, partners and developers aligned, and building systems that large teams can run safely across markets. Today I'm Tech Lead on Crew Clothing's Shopify transformation, leading a team of developers.
Focus
What I bring to a programme
- Technical leadership. Leading development teams, setting standards, reviewing work and mentoring developers on Shopify Plus.
- Architecture. Multi-market store structures, shared themes, integrations, and checkout, admin and account extensions.
- Delivery governance. Git workflows, CI/CD, environments and release practices that keep shared code and store content apart.
- Stakeholder translation. Turning commercial and operational requirements into plans that technical teams and partners can deliver.
- AI adoption. Practical, controlled use of AI agents in Shopify delivery. Read more.
